Scribes Valley Publishing Company is pleased to announce that “Prometheus” is a finalist in our short story writing contest that ended on September 3, 2014.
“Prometheus” explores how two men can be so similar yet fight on opposite sides of a goal. What determines the fine line between passion and obsession and what happens if that line is blurred?
As of yet, the top 2 or 3 stories have not been chosen from the fourteen finalists. They will be decided soon and those authors will be notified.
Our current plans are to produce an anthology comprised of the winning stories from the contest (all finalists will be included). This will require quite a bit of work on our part as we work with each winning author to prepare his or her story for the anthology.
